We would like to congratulate our very own Paul Harrigill(along with his sister Amber Nugent) on their 1st place win in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at MerleFest this weekend! “I’m Blue” landed the victory for Paul and Amber in the Bluegrass category. Kelsi also made the finals in the competition and placed 2nd in the Country category with her brand-new song, “You’ll Never Have To Lose Me”. This is a huge accomplishment for both, considering there were nearly 600 entries in the contest this year! With the 1st place win, Paul received some prizes and the whole band was able to perform the winning song in front of a great crowd on the Cabin Stage Friday night. Needless to say, we have had an UNBELIEVABLE time at MerleFest and cannot wait to do it again next year!
